The Heiress and the Cowboy Contractor Page 9
“You can open your eyes now,” he whispered kissing her ear.
Blinking, she gazed up at the smoky-blue gaze staring down at her, and as she did he pushed his fingers inside her ravenous pussy.
“Spread, sugar, spread your legs real wide for me, yeah, just like that. You need to show me just how much you want my cock before I’ll let you have it.”
“I do, I swear,” she groaned.
“I’m startin’ to believe you,” he replied moving his lips to her neck. “Show me your tits.”
The instruction surprised her, then titillated her, and she wriggled her hands behind her back and undid the bra clasp, sliding the straps down her arms.
“So nice,” he purred moving his lips to her nipples. “Lay back, close your eyes again.”
“Beau, I love how you’re controlling me,” she whispered. “I love it so much.”
“I know what you need,” he said softly, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet,” and closing his lips around her perfect pink rosebud, he began slowly to suck, then nibble, then tongue, and all the while his fingers continued to slide in and out of her hungry cunt.
“Beau…you’re making me crazy,” she moaned, “really crazy.”
“We can’t have that,” he drawled lifting his head, and withdrawing his hand he rolled her on to her stomach. “Look at that lovely red ass,” he growled, “so red, it should always be red, red and hot.”
Moving his palm across her cheeks he slapped lightly, knowing it wouldn’t take much to bring forth a tantalizing sting. She let out a small yelp and he smacked her again, then pushing her legs apart he knelt between them, grabbing her hips and pulling them up.
“You want my cock, Nickie?”
“Yes, yes, yes, take me,” she panted lifting herself from the mattress on to her hands and wriggling her backside at him. “Take me right now.”
“You think you deserve it?”
“I…uh…”
“You were real demandin’ earlier, and that sounded kinda demandin’ just now. You demand, it ain’t gonna happen. You ask real polite and sweet then I might think about it,” he murmured teasing the head of his cock against her dripping cunt.
“Please, Beau, please make love to me. Please? I’ll be good, I swear.”
“That was close,” he remarked, “try again.”
“What do you want me to say?” she groaned.
“You asked me, but I didn’t hear anythin’ about you wantin’ or needin’ my cock.”
“Ooh, this is torture,” she whimpered.
“I can always stop.”
“What? NO! Please, Beau, I’ve never felt like this before, not ever. I want you so much, I need you inside me, please?”
“There you go,” he said warmly, “now drop down on your elbows, arch your back and stick your bottom out.”
As she dropped back down he leaned across the bed, pulled open the drawer of his nightstand and grabbed a condom.
Nickie had never felt so alive; every nerve in her body was sparking, and as she heard him tear the condom wrapper she held her breath waiting for him to slide into her depths. His thumbs touched her lips, separating them, and when he pushed forward she bucked back, a soft, grateful groan escaping her lips.
Beau sucked in his breath as he began to thrust; she was dripping and warm, and he moved slowly, relishing the feel of her and the glorious sight of her spanked ass. As her fever grew, and she wriggled and gasped, he accelerated, pumping harder as his climax began build.
“You’re so strong,” she gasped.
He answered her with a slow but powerful stroke, and dropping his fingers under her hips he sought out her magic nub.
“Ooh, Beau, if you do that…” she panted.
“If I do this, what?” he teased as he continued to rub.
“I’m already so close, your cock…” she stammered.
“I’m gonna ride you hard,” he declared shifting his hand back to clutch her hip. “If you wanna put your fingers on your clit you go ahead, but you’d better not come before I say you can.”
Shifting slightly on his knees he gripped her tightly, then plunging forward he began to pummel her pussy; any thought of touching herself was abandoned. He was taking her, possessing her, owning her body, and he was galloping them both to the end; she had no control; her body was utterly his.
Nickie could feel herself lifting, rising, higher and higher, as if in a hot air balloon, and then suddenly, unexpectedly, he barked a command
“Come for now,” he demanded landing a solid slap, “right now!”
The balloon popped, and as she exploded, as her cries echoed through the room and the intense tingles permeated her being, she heard a distant, deep groan and felt his fingers dig into her flesh. A fresh convulsion took her away, rippling through her limbs, followed by another, and another, until the powerful spasms began to abate, and she floated gently earthward.
She felt him slip away; she didn’t want him out of her, she never wanted the moment to end, but it had, and as he fell next to her and pulled her into his chest she surrendered to the wave of emotion that was filling her heart.
I never knew I could feel this way. A cowboy, fuck, I’m think I’m falling in love with a cowboy. How could that be, and what the hell am I gonna do?
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
After enjoying the luxury of a shower together, Nickie realized she’d left her bag in the truck, and as Beau hurried away to retrieve it she donned his black, terry cloth robe and stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror.
“This is a hell of a pickle you’ve got yourself into, Nicole Harris,” she muttered. “I’m not sorry,” she said back to herself, “not one bit. I just have to find a way to explain things.” She was pondering exactly how she might be able to do that when she heard the sound of his approaching footsteps, and letting out a troubled sigh she ambled back into the bedroom.
“Here you go, I’m gonna go warm up our lunch,” he smiled.
Tilting his head he paused for a moment, studying her, then abruptly strode across the room, enveloped her in his arms and hugged her tightly.
“You look real good in my robe.”
“I feel real good in it, I love the way it smells, like you.”
“You wear it any time you want,” he murmured, relishing the unexpected closeness, “I’m gonna go get our lunch ready. I’ll see you down there, then we’ll go for that drive.”
“That sounds perfect,” she said softly. “Beau?”
“You need somethin’?” he asked breaking their hug and gazing down at her.
“No, just, that was heavenly, and I think you’re wonderful.”
“Back at ya,” he smiled.
She watched him turn and stride away, and pushing back a wave of emotion she opened her bag and pulled out her fresh shirt and jeans.
A short time later, as Beau stared at Nickie across the table, he felt something akin to joy; it was the only word he could think of to describe the energy pulsing in his heart. He’d been in lust, he’d been in crush, he’d even thought he’d been in love a couple of times, but this was a high he’d not experienced.
Doesn’t make any sense. I don’t even know this girl. I know she’s as smart as all get out, I know she’s brave, not to mention beautiful-
“Why are you looking at me like that?” she asked drinking the last of her tea.
“The aqua in that shirt brings out the green of your eyes,” he remarked, “and you look peaceful. The most peaceful I’ve seen you.”
“I’m not surprised,” she sighed. “That ride, and I mean the one on Trixie,” she giggled, “and then, uh, being with you, that’s enough to calm down any girl, even one as crazed as I was.”
“It suits you, not the crazy part, this…this tranquil Nickie. You about ready to take a ride?”
“I don’t know about that, not yet anyway.”
“Your butt too sore?”
“Why do you ask me questions like that?” she quipped, her eyes wide.
/>
“Cos it gets that reaction,” he chuckled. “I wasn’t talkin’ about a horse ride, I was talkin’ about gettin’ in the jeep and drivin’ up to Flat Top Point. Thought maybe we could take dessert with us, and a bottle of wine if you’d like. We can watch the sunset.”
“That sounds fabulous. Does your maid come back tonight?”
“Gina is not my maid,” he said firmly.
“She cooks, she cleans, she does housework and you pay her, right?”
“Yep, but-”
“Then she’s your maid,” Nickie insisted.
“Technically, maybe, but I don’t see her that way, not at all. Gina’s one of my best friends.”
“You can’t be friends with the people who work for you. My dad always said that.”
“He’d be wrong in this case,” Beau frowned, “now help me clear the table and put the dishes in the dishwasher.”
She was tempted to debate the point but changed her mind, and as she picked up some plates she paused, taking in her immediate surroundings and the living room beyond.
“Beau, I absolutely love your house. It’s so warm, it’s friendly, it says, come in and put your feet up.”
“Thanks,” he smiled, “that’s what a house should say.”
“Mine doesn’t, or rather won’t when it’s done. I thought I wanted something super modern, but…”
“But you’re changin’ your mind?”
“I am, I want something like this.”
“We can talk to Geoff, and what you’re suggestin’ is not a big deal. It just means puttin’ up some walls, and Nickie, I’m happy you’re thinkin’ that way.”
“All I’ve ever known is super contemporary, that’s what everyone has at home. Something like this never occurred to me, and I want it, and I want a sloped roof too, and paned windows, and-”
“Whoa, this is all great but if you’re gonna make that many changes we need a serious meetin’ with Geoff.”
“You’re going to build my house, aren’t you, Beau?” she grinned walking up and pecking him on the cheek.
“Looks like it,” he grinned back, “and now you’re talkin’ about a house I want to build. Now you’re talkin’ about a home.”
“Yes, that’s it exactly, I want to build a home.”
He took the dishes from her and placed them in the sink, then wiped his hands on a towel and wrapped his arms around her.
“You’re a gem,” he whispered, “you’re like that diamond in the rough, sharp edges and tough as nails, but underneath you’re waiting to sparkle.”
Closing her eyes she rested against him, listening to his heart.
I feel like I already have a home, and it’s here, right here, with you and the horses.
“Let’s get things cleaned up,” he said softly, “I really wanna show you this view.”
“I really want to see it,” she replied, “but, um, Beau, before we do that, I have something for you.”
“You have something for me?” he repeated.
“A thank you, just a couple of things I picked up at Wally’s.”
“You’re kiddin’?”
“No, I’ll be right back,” she said happily, and breaking from his hug she hurried towards the stairs.
As he finished cleaning up, and retrieved the picnic basket and began to pack it, he shook his head, feeling almost embarrassed.
She bought me somethin’. I can’t remember the last time a girl bought me somethin’. What a sweetheart.
“I almost changed my mind about one of these things,” she announced as she walked back in.
“You did,” he grinned, “because?”
“You’ll see,” she replied offering him a Wally’s shopping bag filled with tissue.
“The fact that you did this, it’s enough you even thought about it,” he stammered as he took it from her.
Placing the bag on the table he dropped his hand inside and was shocked to find a riding crop, the end of which had a large leather tongue in the shape of a heart.
“What’s this?” he grinned, “is this what you almost changed your mind about?”
“Um, it was an impulse buy,” she giggled feeling her face flush red, “and yes, it’s what I almost changed my mind about.”
“I have a feelin’ it’s gonna come in real handy,” he remarked swishing it through the air.
“Ooh, shoot, I’m an idiot!” she exclaimed.
“I don’t think so, I think you’re a genius,” he chuckled.
“Okay, okay, keep looking.”
Laying the crop on the table he peered into the bag and saw a highly polished, small, wooden box. Pulling it out he recognized the brand name immediately; it was one of the finest knife makers in the country. Lifting the lid he discovered a multi-use, stainless steel pocketknife, the handle artfully inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
“I figured, being both a cowboy and a contractor, a tool like that might be handy.”
“Nickie, you didn’t have to do this,” he murmured.
“I didn’t do it because I had to, I did it because I wanted to,” she smiled. “Do you like it?”
“Are you kiddin’? Like it? I love it! I’ve always wanted one of these. Thank you. What happened to that crazy woman I met?”
“What crazy woman?” she frowned, then began to giggle. “I guess you’re a good influence.”
“Come here,” he sighed opening his arms.
As she sank into him he could hardly believe she was the same rude, obnoxious female that had been so demanding and difficult; the change in her personality was startling.
I’ll bet you’ve always been this sweet, thoughtful girl. You just needed someone to let you out. Damn, you must have been so unhappy.
A short time later they were in the jeep, the picnic basket, packed with a large slice of chocolate cheesecake courtesy of Gina, a bottle of Merlot, plates, glasses and napkins, sitting on the back seat. Beau drove up a dirt road, and though it wasn’t steep Nickie could see the view was becoming something truly spectacular.
“There’s a huge flat pad up ahead. I’m plannin’ on buildin’ a cabin up here one of these days. A place to escape to when I need it.”
“A romantic getaway,” she suggested.
“A romantic getaway, I like the sound of that,” he smiled.
They continued to climb, and as the jeep crested the gentle slope she was shocked by what appeared before her; the pad wasn’t just flat, it was huge.
“This is weird, it’s like someone cut off the top of the hill. Did you grade this?” she asked as he drove slowly forward.
“Nope, nature did. I didn’t do much at all. I call it Flat Top Point. The only thing about bein’ up here is the wind.”
“Really? It’s calm right now.”
“It is most of the time, but we get bad winds a few times a year, and up here, whoa, it can blow you right over. Check out the trees over there?”
Staring across to a thicket in the distance she could see how some of the trees appeared to be leaning backwards, others to the side.
“That looks really strange,” she remarked, “but you know when the winds are coming, right?”
“Yep. They kick up at the beginnin’ of summer, right about now. They’ll be hittin’ soon. I never, ever come here when it’s windy.”
“It’s that bad?”
“It’s that bad,” he said grimly, “and I can’t imagine why you would ever do this, but don’t you think about comin’ up here to check it out,” he said sternly, “and I’m real serious.”
“Of course I wouldn’t,” she gaped at him.
“Just wanna be clear, but look, we’re almost at the spot,” he said pointing ahead.
“The spot?”
“Yep, look, see over there, the lake?”
Staring through the windshield the vastness of the water came into view, and the hills on the opposite side seemed to fall directly into it.
“It’s like a fiord,” she exclaimed. “It’s absolutely stunning.”
>
He pulled the jeep to a stop, and as they climbed out he grabbed the basket from the back seat.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” she sighed. “You own this?”
“Yep. Well, me and the bank,” he laughed, “but not for much longer.”
“This is incredible. Thank you so much for bringing me up here. Look down there, you can see the trail we were on.”
“You can see everythin’ from up here,” he remarked pulling the cheesecake and wine from the hamper.
Dropping on to the soft, grassy ground, she pulled her knees into her chest and hugged them, taking in the remarkable vista.
I’m never going home, never. I don’t care what they do, I’m staying here.
Beau had poured the wine and taken the cheesecake out of its container, and as he looked across at her he could see she was deep in thought, but the crease in her brow suggested it was worried thought.
“Here,” he said offering her a glass of wine.
“What? Oh, thanks.”
“Anything you wanna talk about?” he asked gently.
“Is it that obvious?”
“Kinda,” he nodded.
She sipped the wine, closed her eyes and sighed.
“This is really good,” she remarked taking another swallow.
Not wanting to push he picked up a spoon, scooped up a large bite of the rich dessert, and brought it to her lips. Smiling, she opened her mouth and took in the entire mouthful.
“Mmmm, mmmm, who made this?” she managed as she felt it dissolve against her tongue.
“The maid,” he chuckled.
“Holy crap, she could be a chef. That’s the best fu-sorry, best damn dessert I’ve ever had.”
“That was close. Another second and you’d be back over my knee.”
The threat sent a flurry of butterflies to life, and she momentarily closed her eyes as she sipped the wine.
Why does he affect me this way? Man, I love it. It’s the best feeling in the world.
“What’s your favorite movie,” he asked, “do you have one, do you like the movies?”
“My favorite? That’s tough. I like the movies from the sixties, like, The Graduate, Bonny and Clyde, Butch Cassidy, all those great Bond films, West Side Story, and My Fair Lady, they were amazing.”
